Announcement: We always knew this was a possibility, but the adoption appears to have fallen through. This is always a hard decision for the mother, and we respect her decision. We wish only the best to her and her family. While initially devastated, we know our little peanut is still out there, looking for its way to us. And we can’t give up. So we’re focusing our positive energy and intention on finding our little peanut before we leave Texas.
The biggest hiccup is that this process is now filled with unknowns and won’t be completed before we move to Colorado. With non-family adoptions there’s a 6 month waiting period to finalize. That requires trips back to Texas, waiting for paperwork, and who knows what other legal costs. To cover this and make sure there are no financial limitations to getting our peanut we’ve created a gofundme site. Please, spread this far and wide so we can find our baby soon! Even if you can’t donate yourself, spreading the word will help, as will prayers, requesting benevolent outcomes, and positive intentions. If you have any questions, just ask!
Thanks!
