Considering my limited edition launch console (360) was stolen from my house.

Considering my limited edition launch console (360) was stolen from my house… it would be really awesome to replace that with this.

  1. This would be more nifty to me if it wasn’t a pay service that other consoles give for free. Especially in that it limits you from access to external services if you don’t pay for it.

In other words, cool that they are doing it, but I don’t get the point behind Live.

  3. That ‘especially’ part… definitely.    Which, in the era of things like CoStar, seems silly of them to keep doing.

In the beginning, Live was leaps and bounds beyond what its competitors were doing for online gaming.   That’s not really the case anymore though.

  5. It is the lack of keeping up with the times that makes me wonder why I would even bother. I have a Halo3 edition Xbox, but never turn it on. I have no games and use my PS3 for gaming and entertainment aspects. All of the features I would want from Live (online play, YouTube, Netflix, etc.) are free on it. Which just makes Live seem like money grubbing and stops me from supporting the platform as much.
