Does anyone know how I can rid myself of these phantom photo albums?

Does anyone know how I can rid myself of these phantom photo albums?   The ones that are named as a date, and have no pictures in them because I moved them into proper albums.

It seems to be artifact of the auto-upload feature I turned on to send stuff from the phone to the Plus.

They’re not there when I go to manage my albums, but they clutter up a lot of space when I’m going through recently uploaded things and trying to move them into the proper albums.

Also, if I kill Picasa, will it remove all that from the stock gallery on my phone?   The whole thing has become too much of a mess.

  1. Well then.  Picasa solves my first problem.   There’s an option under experimental that lets you delete empty albums.   They are indeed gone now when I try to add auto-uploaded pics to existing albums.
