Nestled inside this large protective covering, called a payload fairing, sits our InSight lander, ready for its journey to Mars. Launching tomorrow at 7:05 a.m. EDT, this spacecraft will travel to the Red Planet to study the planetโs interior structure in the hopes of answer key questions about the early formation of rocky planets, including Earth.
